Duties
You will oversee execution of housing management functions, (i.e. surveys, inspections, audits, management reviews) to ensure completion is within contracted timeframe.
You will interpret applicable laws, ordinances, and codes governing the construction, leasing, location, operations, and utilization of housing projects or facilities to develop related plans, directives, and other administrative guides.
You will make adjustments in plans and operations to adjust for changes in budget or other resources.
You will coordinate with other agencies to resolve problems, share information, or coordinate work effort.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing housing facilities operations in maintenance, contracts, equipment, furnishing inventory, minor construction, and structural deficiencies, electrical and plumbing repairs; 2) Advising on the technical requirements governing the construction/renovation and utilization of housing facilities; 3) Developing budget submissions and monitoring expenditures; and 4) Advising others on the resolution of housing facilities problems and recommending resolutions (i.e., major housing, billeting and furnishing policies and requirements to perform administrative planning, scheduling, coordinating of work force and resources).
