This position is part of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Office of Development Policy (ODP). As the Managing Director for Impact Monitoring and Data Analysis, you will serve as a first level supervisor in the Development Impact Division and lead DFC's development impact monitoring strategy and performance analysis.
Duties
Develops and implements DFC's strategy and approach to impact performance data analysis.
Designs and oversees creation and ongoing update of key data visualizations and mechanisms to communicate DFC's development impact results and inform investment activities.
Leads the administration and ongoing improvement of the annual Development Outcomes Survey and the annual collection of data via this survey.
Coordinates the team's impact monitoring efforts with the Environmental, Social, and Economic teams in ODP, and across DFC's monitoring functions.
Supervises a team of Impact Management and Monitoring Specialists and Data Analysts.

Requirements

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- This position will require foreign travel to developing countries
Qualifications
Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level). Applicants must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements no later than the closing date of this announcement.
TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
You may qualify at the GS-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to 1) Lead a team; 2) Design data visualizations and mechanisms to communicate development impact results; and 3) Lead the design and update of data cleaning processes and procedures to enhance fidelity of data and supporting activities to improve accessibility and user-friendliness data.
Note: Education is not substitutional at this grade level.
