This position is located in the Purchased Referred Care/Transportation Department of the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, in Lame Deer, MT. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19.

Duties

Assist in determining patient eligibility, scope and priority for the PRC program. Respond to PRC inquires and requests for assistance that are made to the program/CEO. Responsible for effective and maximum utilization of PRC funds. Assists with the reporting of Catastrophic Health Emergency cases. Compile information for data entry and use of software to create purchase orders, denials and various letters.

Experience and Education Requirements GS-3: 6 months of general experience OR 1 year above high school GS-4: 1 year of general experience OR 2 years of education above high school General Experience (All positions except Reporting Stenographer, Shorthand Reporter, and Closed Micro-phone Reporter)--Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled Successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite is creditable at grades GS-3 through GS-5 for all positions except Reporting Stenographer, GS-5. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
