The program duration is one year. Upon successful completion of the program and at the agency's discretion, the appointee may be converted to a term or permanent position in the competitive service.

Duties
Perform developmental administrative tasks such as such as scheduling, participating in meetings, taking notes, and filing material
Ensure project management tools are updated daily
Produce essential reports
Contribute to the planning and coordination of projects
Serve as liaison between Environmental Division and other divisions within the office
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Suitable for Federal employment
- Must have completed in the last 2 years, a qualifying degree
- Degree must be from a qualifying institution
- Completion of Confidential Financial Disclosure Form OGE-450
- Bargaining Unit Position: No
Qualifications
Applicants must have completed all educational requirements for an associate, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational, or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution within the previous two years.
-OR-
For veterans whose military service obligation prevented them from applying to a Recent Graduates Program within the standard two-year period, eligibility begins from the date of discharge from active duty and lasts for two years but cannot extend beyond six years from the completion of a qualifying degree or certificate.
