About the Position: Serve as the Lead, Resource Management in the Information & Technology Directorate (ITD),
Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9 (ODCS, G-9).
Duties
Advise the Information and Technology Directorate (ITD) Director and Deputy and Division Chiefs on all matters relating to resource management and planning issues in concert with the ITD Spend Plan and G-9 Management Support Directorate (MSD).
Oversee the Directorate’s Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC) program providing technical analytical and management advice; assumes technical direction for special studies and analyses.
Work with all ODCS, G-9 Division Chiefs to identify and validate multimillion-dollar requirements and related support costs for Program Objective Memorandum (POM) years.
Execute major projects concerned with the analysis and management of financial programs for organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 15% of this position's time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and/or managing the planning, programming and budgeting system; preparing budget estimate proposals; Responsible for overall program review and/or analysis; and identifying requirements for program objective memorandum (POM) such as spend plan, acquisition, package analysis and development. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
