About the Position: Recruiting for a Supervisory Acquisition Program Risk Management Specialist located in Arlington, Virginia.
Duties
Provide advisement on strategies and resources necessary to manage the risk to trusted systems and networks within the acquisition framework.
Oversee the planning, development and implementation of effective solutions and policy guidance to ensure systems and networks across the joint domain address the full spectrum of potential adversary threats.
Provide oversight of the end-to-end process to ensure trusted systems and networks across their life cycles.
Serve as policy authority ensuring applicable DoD and Congressional guidance is integrated into Army acquisition policy.
Maintain liaison with Army intelligence components to ensure acquisition leadership intelligence requirements are identified, defined and communicated in a timely manner.
Perform supervisory duties such as establishing position structure, monitoring performance, managing workload, etc.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirement in Career Category "Program Management" by obtaining an Advanced certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-3 pay band (GS-13 equivalent or higher) in the Federal Service, which includes the following: 1. Applying knowledge of risk management processes to protect systems and technologies from adversarial exploitation and compromise throughout program lifecycles; 2. Performing leadership duties such as managing workload, personnel, recruitment and position structure and performance management; 3) Managing the development of risk management strategies as they relate to program protection.
