Duties

Applies available technologies and basic management principles to adapt computer methods to a variety of subject matter situations such as CLOUD (AWS and Azure), and Leads Database Design Deployment and Configuration projects. Integrates several hardware, software, and/or computer related services to provide an integrated information systems such as Oracle RAC Database Configuration, Maintenance and Support. Responds to and resolves problems with software, hardware, and systems management such as SQL Server Database Management, Technical Architecture and Network topology. Supports subject matter users by developing or designing applications for computers and/or in selecting or assisting in selecting computer equipment such as Postgres Database Deployment and Design.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Database Administration with hands-on expertise in the setup, configuration, security, and support, specifically for Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and Cloud with special focus on AWS and Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS). IT Competencies In addition to the above specialized experience, your resume must demonstrate one year of Information Technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1.
