About the Position: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command delivers the power of Army contracting within the continental United States Strategic Support Area for Army forces to ensure globally dominant land force capability.

Duties

Monitors, reviews, and conducts inspections of services provided by contractors and ensures goods and services are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contracts. Serves as the Quality Assurance Evaluator for the Installation Contracting Office’s Quality Surveillance Program on a variety of contracts. Establishes and meets plans for correcting material weaknesses or refers weaknesses to higher level for correction. Implements prescribed internal controls to eliminate or minimize the potential for fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement and inefficiency. Participates in; the development of complex quality assurance plans and procedures;

OR Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
