About the Position: About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Department of Pathology at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) with the Defense Health Agency, Indo-Pacific Market, Hawaii Region. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices.

Duties

Prepare various reports for management tracking purposes. Monitor, instructs and provides guidance to all department administrative/clerical personnel in administrative procedures. Use automated data processing equipment to prepare in final form a variety of narrative and tabular materials such as correspondence, reports, charts, statistical tables, manuals, technical papers, staff studies and messages. Compose correspondence associated with duties such as letters and memoranda required to transmit various reports and messages within the organization and other agencies. Assist in performing tasks involving budget planning and execution. Accomplish input to the automated Time and Leave System for personnel assigned to the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
