About the Position: About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Clinical Support, Department of Pathology at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) with the Defense Health Agency, Indo-Pacific Market, Hawaii Region.

Duties
Prepare various reports for management tracking purposes.
Monitor, instructs and provides guidance to all department administrative/clerical personnel in administrative procedures.
Use automated data processing equipment to prepare in final form a variety of narrative and tabular materials such as correspondence, reports, charts, statistical tables, manuals, technical papers, staff studies and messages.
Compose correspondence associated with duties such as letters and memoranda required to transmit various reports and messages within the organization and other agencies.
Assist in performing tasks involving budget planning and execution.
Accomplish input to the automated Time and Leave System for personnel assigned to the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes Providing a wide variety of administrative support functions to include composing a variety of documents; advising personnel on budget or civilian personnel and other clerical and administrative procedures.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-6).
