This position is located in the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR), Systemic Risk Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support as principal advisor and subject matter expert to FDIC senior management, staff, and contractors to support the work of the Policy Analysis section.

Duties
-Advises FDIC and Division of Complex Institution Supervision & Resolution (CISR) Senior Leadership on domestic and international financial and regulatory policies, including European special resolution regimes for systemically important banks and Central Counterparties (CCPs).
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as evaluating, monitoring, and developing public policy efforts for large, complex financial institutions (LCFIs), which are generally financial companies with multiple material subsidiaries, complex lines of business, or more than $100 billion in total assets.
