Serves as Manager, Office of Airports, Airport Planning and Programming Branch, WP Region. The incumbent provides principal support to the Director, Airports Division and Deputy Director, Airports Division and Airports District Offices (ADOs) in the administration of all airport planning, environmental and financial programs.
Duties
Responsible for long-range system planning to ensure future airport needs are met. This requires effective use of resources and consultation with ADO managers and other stakeholders. Defines, plans and organizes assigned budget, staff and other resources to accomplish organizational objectives for units/projects/programs more than one or requests organizational additional unit/project/program. Manages budget and either aspects of reallocates the budget resources planning process, including projecting short-term and long-term future needs and justifying resource requirements.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV J, FG/GS 14. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
