You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) in the Information Technology Department of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.
Duties
You will guide and instruct Contract Technical Representatives (CTR) at each Region installation to interpret and implement all higher level policy, standards, rules, and regulations regarding computer networking and base telecommunications systems.
You will provision Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) services for the region and liaison for sites between customers, NMCI management, and Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems.
You will manage all NMCI activities to include ordering; invoicing; legacy applications; Project Move, Add, Change (MAC); and technical refresh replacement of aging computer equipment.
You will directly supervise a professional staff consisting of civilians, contractors, and military personnel.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 41 level 4 within 6 months of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) representing customers in contract discussions; 2) providing technical services in cost estimations, specifications and benchmarking; 3) responding to customer requests for all computer-related difficulties, analyzing problems and recommending solutions; 4) preparing annual operating budget, recommending new hardware, software and communication developments to enhance information system posture; and 5) assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of work, and capabilities of employees.. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
