THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)- Title 5, Position Description Number T5893000 and is part of the WI 115 FW, Wisconsin Air National Guard.
This position is in the Exceptive Service "under the authority for Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)
Duties
Serves as the principal advisor to the Wing Commander and Director of Advanced Programs on the latest industry and technological projections as they pertain to SAP Cyber Security/Information Security for the network enclave infrastructure.
Provides supervision in the daily operations for security activities for the enclave.
Establishes performance standards and evaluates employee performance.
ISSM responsibilities include (taken from Joint SAP Implementation Guidance and AFI 17-101):
Implementation of the RMF. Maintain and report IS and IT systems assessment and authorization status and issues in accordance with DoD Component guidance.
Ensure that Cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations.
Act as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the Information System Owner (ISO) for DoD IS and IT systems under their purview.
Collaborates with other supervisors and managers within the Wing and command to negotiate, decide on, or coordinate work-related changes affecting their operations.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-2210-13 level, applicant must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-grade (or equivalent). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. The employing agency is responsible for defining the specialized experience based on the requirements of the position being filled.
