Duties

Performs heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80-100 pounds or more. Completed work is reviewed for timelines, work practices, and compliance with instructions. Incumbent is responsible for following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing maintenance on equipment.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work varying and/or rotating shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• A Medical Examination is required as physical effort required frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing 80-100 pounds. Position requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for lengthy periods of time.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
