About the Position: This position is located in Directorate of Dental at Schofield Barracks

Duties
Serve as a Dental Purchased Care Coordinator supporting the Active Duty Dental Plan (ADDP).
Coordinate with beneficiaries to schedule initial and/or recurring appointments with civilian dental care providers.
Accurately complete ADDP referral documents, maintain program metrics and verify completion of dental care.
Serve as a liaison with local civilian dental community promoting and responding to questions on the ADDP program.
Input data, retrieve information and prepare a variety of dental health reports.
Compose, type, and prepare various forms, technical and general correspondence, memos and reports.
Requirements
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires screening for required immunizations and for evidence of tuberculosis.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing screening and appointment scheduling, maintaining record keeping systems, and preparing reports and correspondence for the doctor's and patient's signatures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).
OR
Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-04).
