This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The incumbent serves as a Social Media Strategist within the Digital Communications team and reports to the Staff Director, Digital Communications in the Office of Public Affairs. The Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing the Bureau's social media strategy across all platforms.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the CN-60: To qualify at the CN-60 level, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the CN-53 level in the Federal service. (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 level is broadly equivalent to the GS-13 level.) For this position, specialized experience is defined as: Developing and managing social media campaigns for an agency or organization, including responding to comments and questions; AND Providing strategic advice on social media best practices and advising managers on how to best leverage social media to pursue organizational goals; AND Developing original content for social media channels, including platform-specific content; AND Assessing effectiveness of social media campaigns and efforts and recommending and implementing improvements to such campaigns. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
