As a Senior Technical Advisor Product Development, you will focus on product management, technical strategies and coordination, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and independent assessment for information technologies, including web technologies, application development and platform management. This position is located in Washington, DC.

Duties

As a Senior Technical Advisor Product Development, you will: Identify ways to use information technology to enhance product delivery, incorporate end user input, and improve work processes and product development. Develop the key foundational elements for the engagement with business partners on multi-year product development initiatives, such as supervision modernization initiatives. Provide direction and guidance to improve communication efforts and coordination with business partners relating to technology products, services, practices, processes, policies, and standards. Oversee special projects with a focus on strategic partnership and engagement across ITS to deliver technical solutions. Oversee strategic communications and stakeholder engagement and development of targeted operational strategies to improve cross-collaboration across IT solutions. Execute and support research and analysis, directs cross-functional teams, and makes recommendations on tactical, operation, and strategic IT initiatives. Provide supervisory responsibilities for immediate employees and directs day to day oversight that include project management, metrics and reporting of analytics associated with development programs.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level or GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Collaborating with IT stakeholders and customers to develop, modernize or enhance applications to support programmatic goals. AND Managing product and/or project lifecycles using Agile methodologies to ensure alignment between product releases and business requirements. AND Managing, implementing, and/or collaborating on product design and development projects to achieve key elements of a strategic plan or organizational goals. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
