Duties
The Guardians of the United States Space Force represent its most critical asset. The Space Force's ability to provide a unified and effective daily experience for its Guardians is among its most significant strengths. We are looking to a senior program manager to lead the development of our Quality of Life and family support programs for the service. In this critical role, you will have the opportunity to directly shape and influence the well-being of our Guardians and their family members. Specifically, this position assumes the role of Director of Resilience and Quality of Life Programs for USSF HQ CHCO (S1), entailing oversight and responsibility for a mission that prioritizes the continual enhancement and well-being of Space Force Guardians and their families. This mission aligns with the core values of the USSF, emphasizing Character, Connection, Commitment, and Courage.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- This position is eligible for telework, 8-10 days per pay period within commuting distance to the office. Schedule and percentage will be determined by leadership, employee, and situation.
- Position may be required to obtain and maintain a DAWIA certification (level will be determined after selection).
- PCS funding is available.
