This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), within the EMPLOYEE SERVICES DIVISION. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will serve as a principal staff advisor to the Director, and a BEP Senior Executive Service (SES) Program Manager and report to the OHR Office. The incumbent conducts and oversees high-level studies, projects, advice, and support involving critical and time sensitive strategic and operational matters.
Duties
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will;
Provide the full range of HR services to all Senior Executive Services (SES) members within the bureau. Services include, but may not be limited to, recruitment, classification, personnel management, employee relations, talent management and all other HR needs for the SES serviced population.
Assure that the Bureau follows all applicable regulatory and legal requirements associated with the SES program area.
Serve as an expert for policy interpretation and for assisting BEP business areas impacting executive service members.
Develop or revise program planning and development within assigned areas; draft new or revise existing policies, procedures and /or implement processes and procedures.
Promote program activities and monitor progress toward meeting established goals and objectives and evaluate program effectiveness.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Providing strategic human resources consultative advisory services to senior leadership and provides the full execution of Senior Executive Service (SES) recruitments; AND
Experience reviewing, drafting and implementing staffing, classification and personnel management related policies, guidance or standard operating procedures.; AND
Developing, reviewing and editing Human Resources reports, briefings and project plans.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks.
