You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY (PMRF) RANGE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY.
Duties
You will execute, implement, and monitor the PMRF cybersecurity program as well as ensuring compliance of range Information Systems with all cybersecurity policies.
You will work with systems managers/owners to ensure security of all IT infrastructure and systems.
You will create and test disaster recovery procedures to keep PMRF Information Systems running in the event of security breach.
You will identify and resolve highly complex cybersecurity issues to keep information secure, allowing PMRF Information Systems and Range Senor/Data Collection/Communication Systems to operate nominally.
You will implement network control mechanisms to manage vulnerabilities within the Range information processing infrastructure.
You will train system users, promotes security awareness, and develop procedures to implement security measures to protect information systems and information processing assets.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area code 461 level I (intermediate) within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, implementing, and coordinating cybersecurity activities to ensure safety and compliance of Information Technology infrastructure and systems of an organization. Examples of cybersecurity activities are (1) managing security mechanisms that protect networks and information systems and (2) developing system level policies, technical diagrams, and assembling artifacts required for a Risk Management Framework package. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
