You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the G-7 Division, Center for Learning and Faculty Development of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will integrate theory in practice within lesson and learning programs in accordance with service level guidelines.
You will enable asynchronous learner self-study with accountability by preparing or revising learning materials, supporting video creation, and supporting assessment creation
You will foster a learning climate that is inclusive and invites learners to actively engage.
You will guide learning activities and learning reflections during online and in-person lessons.
You will monitor the initial facilitation of new or revised lessons to ensure adequacy and appropriateness of learning experiences.
You will compile and analyze Instructor Rating Forms, Exam Rating Forms, End of Course Critiques, and Critical Information Questionnaires for
each course.
You will perform duties as a Subject Matter Expert at conferences and meetings.
You will assist other facilitators in preparing or revising lesson plans and learning materials
You will establish contacts and maintains liaison with an array of military and civilian educational experts.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Supporting with the facilitation of curriculum under supervision and assisting with informal self-study to further personal development.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Designing, preparing, and facilitating lessons for both online and classroom settings to enable a well-rounded asynchronous learning environment.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
GS-11:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related
