Duties

This position serves as the senior staff member, subject matter expert, analyst and primary focal point for planning and managing a wide array of assigned operations, projects, and efforts for the Narrowband SATCOM Division. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing the full range of Narrowband Military Satellite Communications operations and support activities for Military Narrowband Satellite Communications systems, payloads, and assignments for Fleet Satellite Communications Systems, Ultra-High Frequency Follow-on Satellite Communications Systems, the Mobile User Objective System, emergent systems as well as all other Narrowband Satellite Communications resources as recognized by U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command, and the Department of Defense.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secrect w/SCI clearance.
  • This position is designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program. It is required that you (a) refrain from the use of illegal drugs and (b) if requested, submit to urinalysis testing.
  • May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
  • This position is eligible for situational telework within commuting distance to the office.
  • PCS and incentives may or may not be authorized.
