This position is located in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC), Quality Management Department (QMD), Office of Management and Administration.

The candidate selected for this position will:
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. citizen.
- You may be required to undergo a personnel security background investigation.
- Selective Service registration required for male applicants, unless exempt.
- One year probationary period or two year trial period required unless met during prior Federal service.
- One year supervisory probationary period may be required unless met during prior Federal service.
- Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency
- Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process
Qualifications
Specialized Experience – Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-15 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-15 grade level in the private sector managing, collaborating, and coordinating organization-wide process and program improvement initiatives using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. Examples include: conducting performance management processes; customer satisfaction surveys; directing, coordinating, and overseeing quality control programs, managing and overseeing internal operations; compliance with Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA); program management; process improvement and program development, and working with executive leadership to set organizational strategic objectives.
Credentials such as The American Society for Quality (ASQ) Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification are desired but not required.
