This position is located at Unaccompanied Housing at NAS Pensacola. The incumbent will manage daily warehouse operations to include the accuracy and accountability of the Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) inventory for Large Unaccompanied Housing (UH) operations
Duties
The Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Warehouse or Supply Manager's function is responsible for the ordering, receiving, storage and disposal of UH funded supplies and Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E). This position is only authorized at large Installations with authorized storage space (warehouse).
Managing Unaccompanied Housing (UH) warehouse operations and supervising warehouse clerks.
Managing Unaccompanied Housing (UH) asset inventories to include Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) utilizing barcoding equipment for the Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) property management system, and accurate uploading of UH inventory data in eMH..
Researching and preparing purchase requests for submission to the Installation supply
department when they exceed the micro-purchase threshold.
Controlling inventory, maintaining usage data and providing data for annual budget
submission.
Maintaining consumable supply storerooms and Unaccompanied Housing (UH) warehouse as necessary.
Planning for, and overseeing proper excess property disposal.
Managing Unaccompanied Housing (UH) storeroom or warehouse, including inventory of UH consumable supplies and equipment.
Assisting with the evaluation of contractor and supplier performance.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
- Must successfully pass the E-verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- You must go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9.
- May be required to pass pre-employment examinations.
- Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National.
- A valid State driver's license is required to operate motor vehicles.
- Must have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- This position may be designated ALPHA personnel for inclement weather or in the interest of national security and may be required to report to work when other employees are excused.
- Required to do considerable standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and climbing. Must have ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor as unassisted lifting, moving and carrying of supplies and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications

One year of specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
12 months experience in supervisory and management.
Knowledge of DoD acquisition procedures and inventory management.
Experience with developing and evaluating supply requisitions; on-line data input and reporting
utilizing the eMH system or similar private sector systems; and knowledge of Unaccompanied
Housing (UH) policies.
12 months experience in concepts, standards and regulations of customer service.
Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office applications.
Must possess basic math and reading skills.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
The incumbent reports directly to and receives technical control and guidance from the Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Manager or Housing Installation Program Manager when the UH Manger is unavailable and is charged with ensuring that established functions and policies for supply/warehouse are implemented.
The incumbent is given a wide latitude in exercising independent initiative and judgment in the execution of duties and responsibilities related the building management.
