THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (CONSTRUCTION) - TITLE 5, Position Description Number PDT5805000 and is part of the KY 123 AW, National Guard.

Duties

As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (CONSTRUCTION) - TITLE 5, GS-1152-9, you will receive and review all work requests for validity, accuracy, and feasibility. Ensure proper coordination with outside organizations such as safety, fire, security, communications, occupational health, and environmental. Serve as the manager of the CES Operations and material acquisition element. Function as the office of primary responsibility for implementing procedures required in the management and operation of CES unique work control systems. Estimate requirements for materiel, man-hours, and equipment time. Determine funding type, prepare job/work orders, and approve requests. Coordinate with engineering/design to obtain blueprints, specifications, and related data concerning projects. Schedule multi-shop phasing for complex work. Monitor project progress and manage priority sequences. Serve as the focal point for automated work control and supply programs within CES. Utilize the ANG CES Work Order Management System, Standard Base Supply System, Base Contract Automatic System, and other systems identifying problem areas. Identify and document maintenance support problem areas, recommend corrective action, and perform follow-up action. Ensure fiscal responsibility by establishing job/work orders under the correct organizational funding codes. Work with the CES Funds Manager in planning, formulating, analyzing, and coordinating CES supply budget submissions. Coordinate and direct periodic inspections of Real Property and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) Inventory data to reflect conditions, amount, type, and descriptions of all facilities and RPIE. Establish and operate the CES Command Control Center during normal, contingency, and emergency operations. Operate radio networks, Local Area Network (LAN) computer systems and telecommunications devices to receive and disseminate information. Manage CES mobility equipment and supply programs. Serve as the supply liaison between the CES Commander, key staff, and higher headquarters. Perform other duties as assigned. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one (1) year experience at the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-07) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates experience planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting the use of manpower, machines, and materials pertaining to repair operations. Experience preparing job or work orders. Experience scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility and following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
