Duties

Performs as the central point of entry to ensure Customer Request for Information (RFIs) and Service requirements are coordinated between all four supply chains. Provides a unified face for assigned customers. Provides cross commodity support for Service Component customer requirements to ensure coordinated responses for all four supply chains and across DLA enterprise. Monitors and evaluates key performance indicators and other customer-oriented metrics to ensure optimal customer support. Identifies shortfalls and takes steps to improve customer support. Track current and imminent armed service peace and wartime programs and demand for support and service. Coordinates required logistics support between DLA and MILSVC entities. Facilitates the exchange of information through various data repositories, between DLA and the customer sites. Assists with coordinating Service expedited orders of DLA Troop Support items (Disaster Support) operating within Area of Responsibility (AOR). Tracks and monitors Troop Support Metrics in accordance with the Service Performance Based Agreements (PBAs). Reviews and updates Strategic Partnership Agreements (SPAs), Interagency Agreements (IAAs) and PBAs for impact to Services or to recommend changes to established formal agreements.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Customer Support Liaison your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Broad knowledge of supply commodities Broad knowledge of supply chain management and customer relations Coordinate actions for Supply commodities Class I, II, IV and VIII supply chain offices. Research and development of standard operating procedures (SOP) for (operations and plans), work and coordination efforts with Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) and supply chain operations. Assess and recommend CSL training requirements. Assess program deployment, projects, and development support requirements, as necessary. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
