This position is in the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Wisconsin Office (Division). The employee serves as the Transportation Specialist (Grants Manager). The employee’s principal duties are to plan, lead, coordinate and manage grant assignments; and administer the Grant Programs within the Division, including reviews and applicable reporting.

Qualifications
For the 2101 series, specialized experience that demonstrated a knowledge of the transportation function(s) of the position to be filled is required.
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. For the GS-13:
On Experience, you must have at least one year of experience, equal or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which included:
Experience managing federal financial assistance (grant and cooperative agreement), regulations, policies, and processes to organization-wide policy and guidance.
Experience contributing to the formulation of organization-wide direction for transportation related federal financial assistance programs.
Experience presenting data from multiple sources, documenting analysis, recognizing trends, and making recommendations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will also be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

Compliance - Knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with Federal laws, regulations, and guidance.
