About the Position: About the Position: This is a Realty Specialist, GS-1170-13 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division Headquarters located in Dallas, Texas. Note: there is 1 (one) vacancy that can be filled at one of the following locations: Dallas, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tulsa, OK; Little Rock, AR or Louisville, KY

Duties

Serve as the Southwest Division Program Manager and interface with HQ, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Joint Recruiting Facilities Committee (JRFC) and the Recruiting Commands on matters affecting the Joint Recruiting Facilities Program. Interact with the Chairman, JRFC, commanders and personnel of each of the recruiting commands, the MSC Chief of Real Estate and District Chiefs of Real Estate and personnel under their supervision in the SWD districts, and USACE personnel. Monitor and facilitate the execution of the JRFP for the Southwestern Division area of responsibility, including Louisville District. Lead and oversee the formulation and implementation of one or more special national initiatives assigned by the Chairman of the JRFC. Routinely reviews and compiles performance metrics reports for the Division and its Districts before Command Management Review and the Director's Management Review. Perform as a liaison between the Southwestern Division and its Districts with USACE, the JRFC, and the services.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) acquiring real estate property through lease or direct purchase; AND 2) evaluating budgetary/space requirements for real estate projects; AND 3) obtaining and terminating leases for commercially owned property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationProject ManagementReal EstateTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
