About the Position: This is a Realty Officer, GS-14 position with USACE, Real Estate Division located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Duties
Responsible for the execution of all real estate program activities for the Little Rock District.
Advises and guides the decisions of the District Commander on all real estate matters and consults with in and other technical and staff officials on policies, problems and decisions involving use of real property.
Responsible for administering full spectrum of real estate products and services for civil works and military programs within the Little Rock District boundaries.
Participates and is actively involved in budgeting and programming for real estate mission requirements and project scope, time, cost, and quality issues to meet customer/partner expectations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year supervisory probationary period is required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. .
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing disposal projects for real property including meeting one out of two conditions as follow: 1) planning and controlling processes and schedules for real property outgranting and disposals; or 2) coordinating with customers or stakeholders in order to develop solutions to real estate outgranting and disposal problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
