The position is located in the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) office, U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) in Washington, D.C. The CEO Office, is responsible for managing and overseeing two federal entities and four non-federal entities. The CEO provides day-to-day management of USAGM's operations, including oversight of the technical, professional, and administrative support as well as strategic guidance and management of other programs.
Duties
As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to:
Provides support and assistance to ensure efficient workflows of the Executive Secretariat, document review, clearance, processing, electronic archiving of final documents, reports, and correspondence in compliance with USAGM guidelines and federal government document retention requirements that require approval and signature by the CEO.
Provides assistance in the coordination of day-to-day operation in the CEO Office and activities of the International Broadcasting Advisory Board (IBAB-upon confirmation and appointment).
Monitors program activities, sets priorities, and provides assistance, coordination, follows up with supervisor to ensure initiatives are implemented, and monitors workflow between incumbent's office and other program areas.
Manages incoming correspondence to determine the appropriate action, edit for accuracy, and disseminate information throughout the agency on behalf of the CEO office.

- This is a national security position. If selected, this position requires the completion of the SF-86.
- Suitability Determination: If selected, you may be subject to a background investigation to establish your suitability for federal employment. The background investigation may include, among other aspects, a review of your credit and legal history.
- This position is not covered by a union agreement.
- The full performance grade level for this position is GS-12.

- Position requires a Top Secret clearance. Selectee must obtain a Top Secret clearance upon selection and maintain the clearance while in the position.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the GS-11 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, the following specialized experience is required:
Producing detailed written materials including talking points, briefing materials, and meeting summaries for high level officials such as Senior Executive Service (SES) members or board members.
Providing administrative support for senior officials (such as SES or board members) to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Participating in a variety of projects such as to improve programs, increase productivity, improve management controls, and/or long-range planning.
Developing ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and timeliness of work processes.
Education
Education is not required for this grade level. It cannot be used for qualification purposes.
