Duties

-Incumbent assists with processing maintenance work orders generated through the Facility Maintenance System (FMS). Coordinates the monitoring and successful daily operation of the LC Region Work Order Tracking System (WOTS). -Assists Facility Operations Specialists with reconciliation of work orders between the LC Region WOTS, Financial Business Management System (FBMS) and the electronic Time and Attendance System. -Responsible for scheduling preventative maintenance inspections, maintenance and repair orders. Tracks and make adjustments to monthly Preventive Maintenance work orders and distributes to the supervisor for assignment. -Responsible for following the credit card purchasing process of the Buildings and Grounds Group (BGG) office by assisting with reconciliation and utilization of Government credit cards for micro purchases. -Incumbent assists the Facilities Operations Specialists with preparing purchase requests for projects. -Incumbent is responsible for general office administrative assistance; time and attendance processing and tracking in time and attendance, procurement, agreements, property, staff, record keeping, and maintenance related correspondence and other administrative requirements for the office. -Works with Contracting Officer to implement and administer a variety of assigned contracts.

GS-7: To qualify at the GS-7, you must possess one year of (full-time work) specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-6 level in federal service having demonstrated experience. GS-7 Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience is defined as experience in requesting repairs of facilities, providing administrative support to an organization, experienced in charge card program sufficient to monitor, track and reconcile purchases for supplies and equipment, and experience inputting time and attendance into an automated system. You must be clear when describing your experience, Human Resources may not make assumptions in determining qualifications. Time-In-Grade: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower-grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b). Applicants eligible under the Land Management Workforce Flexibility Act (LMWFA) are not required to meet time-in-grade restrictions in order to be considered. You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including time-in-grade restrictions and any selective placement factors if applicable, by 09/15/2023.
