You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST (ANTI-TERRORISM) in the FORCE PROTECTION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL WEAPONS STATION YORKTOWN SECURIT.
Duties

You will conduct the Vulnerability Assessment (VA) in conjunction with other Anti-Terrorism (AT) Working Group members in a collaborative effort.
You will serve as the authoritative expert for all matters relating to Physical Security matters as related to reducing the vulnerability of the installation and tenant commands.
You will validate identified security deficiencies and review narrative reports of findings and recommendations prepared by subordinates.
You will lead Security Specialist who conduct vetting and access control, as well as Military and Civilian Antiterrorism Training Supervisors and Police Instructors.
You will serve as the Antiterrorism Training Team Leader and will be responsible for Planning, Briefing, Executing, and De-briefing Installation Antiterrorism Exercises, in order to validate the Command Antiterrorism Plan and Preplanned Responses.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- Must obtain and maintain DoD Security Professional Certification within one year of assuming the position.
- Must complete Level II ATO Training within 3 years of assuming position. Refresher training must be completed at least once every 3 years.
- Must complete required Navy Personnel Qualifications Standards, as applicable for the position of ATO, ATTT, PS Officer and associated duties.
- May be required to respond to emergencies during evenings, weekends or holidays.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing project management, policy, and advice on matters of physical security, force protection and anti-terrorism programs; 2) Managing, implementing, and/or directing security programs and policy for an activity to meet mission requirements; 3) Safeguarding information, personnel, property, assets, or material to prevent, deter, and minimize theft, loss, misuse, fraud, disclosure, espionage, or sabotage; 4) Developing and conducting security briefings and/or training for all levels of military and civilian personnel to convey security policies and directives; 5) Exercising supervision over all work and personnel assigned to a security detachment based on department priorities and employee capabilities.
