This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Bolling AFB, Washington D.C. Duties

Oversees projects from conceptualizing the requirements and determining the optimum creative process, to creating static and full motion images for integration into recorded or live broadcast productions. Develops a full understanding of the subject matter and overall communication objectives to be able to produce the required multi-media products. Troubleshoots graphics hardware, to include CPUs, video cameras and printers as well as specialized software packages to assure optimum performance. Performs equipment evaluation on various types of new graphic equipment assigned to the WHDMC to verify compliance with design specifications. Oversees state-of-the-art broadcast resources which have a value into the millions of dollars.

• This position may require occasional TDY travel.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Basic Requirements: Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position. Some positions may also require subject-matter knowledge of medicine, science, or technical equipment. Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis. OR Experience in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position. This includes planning the preparation and use of photographs, illustrations, drawings, and other art work, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in planning and producing analogous and digital vector/rastor based graphics and computer 3D animation for television productions and broadcasts. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. Additionally, prior to reporting for duty the selectee must be found eligible for a DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Special Compartmented Information (SCI) based upon an Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), AND be approved for Presidential Support Duty in accordance with Department of Defense Directive 5210.55 (Yankee White - Category II, minimum). Education

There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-12 grade level.
