You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the SUPPLY DIRECTORATE (N7) of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.
Duties
You will prepare transportation discrepancy report for line hauls.
You will prepare and forward transportation/shipping reports as needed to chain of command and cognizant organizations.
You will expedite deliveries on overdue shipments, maintaining liaison with carriers and program managers until the required materials have been received.
You will operate material handling equipment, to include pallet jacks and forklifts to move and lift loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds up to a height of 168 inches.
You will complete operating records and necessary reports.
You will maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or Top Secret/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position is subject to possess HAZMAT shipment certification qualification.
- This position is subject to obtain and maintain a government forklift license in support of warehouse operations.
- This position is subject to obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
- This position requires to report to the command when requested.
- This position is subject to periodic counterintelligence (CI) scope polygraphs.
- This position is subject to successfully passing a pre-employment physical.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing in-depth knowledge of storage, handling and shipment policies/procedures that covers classified/sensitive items to include HAZMAT, explosives AND providing resolution of complex shipping and receiving issues.

Education
In lieu of the specialized experience above, you may qualify by having:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
A combination of experience and specialized experience . The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.
