WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Staff Assistant, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs to optimize business results and customer experience by:

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: A. You must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service that includes ALL of the following: Reviewing and/or evaluating administrative operations within an office; Analyzing documents or guidelines; and Making recommendations to a supervisor on administrative procedures and/or operations. OR B. Must have at least a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in any field of study from an accredited college and/or university or LL.B. or J.D., if related. One year of full-time graduate education is the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the one (1) year of full-time study requirement. OR C. Must have a combination of experience as descried in "A" above and education as described in "B" above. Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
