This is a non-bargaining unit position. This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP). This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations - Region VII in St. Louis, MO. Provides information of the 8(a) Business Development program, the eligibility requirements for participation in the 8(a)BD program and explain the application process.

Qualifications

GS-09: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector which demonstrates the ability to work in ALL of the following: (1) Assisting in reviewing, researching and referencing federal procurement laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; AND (2) Participating in outreach events, training, presentations and education on a variety of business management and financial management topics; AND (3) Providing support to senior staff in promoting an organization's programs and services through outreach and marketing. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. One year of full-time graduate education is 18 semester hours or the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. You must submit your college transcripts when qualifying based on this option. OR Combination: Combination of graduate-level education and specialized experience as specified above. For example, an applicant who has 1 full year of Masters level education (i.e., 50% of education required) and 6 months of creditable specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level as described above (i.e. 50% of the required experience) would equate to 100% of the required experience for the position. One year of full-time graduate education is 18 semester hours or the number of credit hours that the school attended.
