You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT in the PERMANENT PARTY, FLEET & FAMILY (FF&E), UNACCOMPANIED HOUSING OVERSIGHT of JOINT EXPED BASE LITTLE CREEK FT STORY.
Duties
You will conduct periodic inspections to assess habitability of assigned spaces, common use areas, custodial and maid services.
You will assign housing to military accompanied or unaccompanied residents (e.g., record applicant information, process forms).
You will advise local program participants on administrative practices to inform them of resident relations, occupancy, and maintenance matters.
You will determine tenant responsibility for damages to prepare reimbursement vouchers for approval.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain
the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to
travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to posses and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Provide information via telephone, email and in person on a variety of subjects relating to unaccompanied housing for military personnel; 2) Ensure proper record keeping in the Unaccompanied Housing Module (UHM) of enterprise Military Housing (eMH); 3) Coordinate with Facilities Management Specialist (FMS) to ensure timely completion of berthing maintenance projects; 4) Inspect rooms for cleanliness, appearance and maintenance discrepancies routinely to determine if procedures are being followed.
