You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGER in the S-8 Directorate of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Duties
You will manage Program Objective Memorandum and budget development, midcourse corrections during budget execution, and identification and prioritization of program deficiencies.
You will make recommendations to the Commanding Officer.
You will ensure that the Standard Accounting, Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS) satisfies the Commanding Officer?s need for timely and accurate budget and accounting data.
You will direct execution of inter-service support agreements (ISAs) and memorandums /letters of agreement (MOAs) with DOD tenant organizations under the Defense Regional Inter-service Support program and other federal, state and city organizations.
You will serve as principal advisor to the Commanding Officer on all matters pertaining to these functions and on all financial matters, and as principal advisor to management on financial matters.
Requirements

- Must meet the Financial Management Certification requirements of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. Must be willing to obtain and maintain current Financial Management Certification at Level III.
- Must be willing and able to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE Form 450 annually.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning, programming, budgeting, accounting system maintenance and quality assurance, military and civilian pay and travel, disbursing/finance operations, internal management control, audit agency and Inspector General liaison, and inter-service support agreements.
