Duties

This position serves as HQ SpOC Budget Analyst managing the HQ Management Accounts to include financial analysis functions in the formulation, justification, presentation, and execution and review phases for assigned programs. Performs budget execution work involving monitoring obligations incurred and resulting expenditure of funds and the administration and review of requests for allotments of funds for distribution. Performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analysis and estimates of annual funding needs for one or more current and future budget years. Leads the HQ Resource Advisors in resolving complex problems by examining documentation and communication with staff with possible solutions. Applies accounting regulations, procedures, policies to carry out accounting functions.

• Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
• Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
• May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
• This position is eligible for situational telework.
• PCS is available.
