As a HR Specialist (Information Systems) at the GS-0201-13, you will be part of OPM Human Resources, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be serves as an expert for agency-wide HR information systems.
Duties
Provides technical support to personnel and users throughout the agency in the usage, development, and implementation of HR systems required to meet HR data needs of the agency.
Identifies methods for improving data collection and reporting processes, tools and solutions for HR Information Systems stakeholders.
Identifies and interprets HR transactional, onboard, and demographic data to drive business decisions for OPM HR, and customer program and support offices.
Working with recruitment data (e.g. USA Staffing), applicant flow data, position and personnel data (e.g. HR Links system), performance (e.g. USA Performance), and benefits reporting.
Designs and develops visual analytics and visual dashboards/reports, such as through PowerBI, Tableau, R, etc. Presenting information in an informative and useable way, supporting decision-making for customers.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) that includes all of the following:
Developing reports and models to determine workforce trends, forecast future trends and model scenarios to drive business decisions.
Identifying supporting data for improvements to hiring, retention, turnover etc.
Performing modeling to examine and identify key trends.
Designing / developing regular and recurring and ad-hoc workforce data reports for customers.
Assisting with internal HR system implementation and testing.
Analyzing survey data in support of data-driven decision making.
Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level.
