THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a Supply Management Specialist, Position Description Number PDD0878P01 and is part of the WY Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics, Wyoming Army National Guard.
Duties
Its purpose of this position is to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage all command supply and services functions.
(1) Plans, organizes and manages supply and services functions to include command equipment/property readiness/accountability management.
(2) Advises the DOL Logistics Management Officer (LMO) on command supply and services status and recommends support required for current and proposed operations.
(3) Maintains current command supply analysis on trends of effectiveness and efficiency.
(4) Receives fiscal information from each subordinate function to prepare and review budget estimates for the command supply and services functions.
(5) Monitors required unit equipment inventories and is active in the development, scheduling and execution of special command physical inventories.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:
Primary consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2 and 4. If referrals are not made from the target category, subsequent referrals may next be made from Area 6 (if eligible).
Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics.
Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 4: All current M-day soldiers of the Wyoming Army National Guard.
Area 6: Current military members of the US Army, Army Reserves, or other states' Army National Guard units or prior service members of one of those military branches. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Work involves management, direction or administration of a supply program that includes a mixture of technical supply functions or staff managerial or administrative work primarily concerned with analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must possess at least at least 12 months experience at GS-10 Logistics or Supply management OR must possess at least 36 months experience, education, or training identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
Must possess MOS in 88, 90A, 91, or 92 series.
DRIVER'S LICENSE:
Must possess a valid driver's license.
