You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the Headquarters U.S Marine Corps Marine Corps Installation Command of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will support US Marine Corps (USMC) mission requirements by providing real property assets, managing them and divesting when the asset is no longer needed.
You will manage USMC real property owned, leased and managed inventory; establishing, maintaining and certifying real property inventory, inputting data into financial statements, assessing inventory utilization and tracking and reporting metrics.
You will be responsible for real property inventory and audit activities
You will plan, develop, manage, provide oversight for delegated and assigned work
You will originate and establish policy, goals, objectives, methods and procedures for resolving real property issues
You will establish and maintain a real property asset management program; develop, implement, review and improve real property inventory policy.
You will develop long and short range plans for programs and transactions; resolve issues surrounding encroachment, historic preservation, heritage assets and environmental conditions.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Travel aboard military and/or commercial conveyance may be required to support roles and responsibilities. Percentage of travel up to 30% on an annual basis may be required to meet and support the criteria and requirements of this position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate experience with planning and implement processes and policy for the principles, theories, concepts, methods, and techniques of real property accountability; demonstrating collaboration with peers to support audits and other real property or database projects; and experience with program and project management functions.
