This vacancy is for a Diversity Equity Inclusion Accessibility Manager in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce.

Duties

As a Diversity Equity Inclusion Accessibility Manager, you will perform the following duties: Develop department-wide strategies and approaches to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of DEIA programs across organizations and ensure successful implementation of associated programs across bureaus. Achieve consistency with the strategic goals of OPM's DEIA strategic plan. Provide strategic direction and consultative support to DOC bureaus as they comply with EO 14035, departmental DEIA strategies, policies and programs and/or seek to build additional bureau-specific offerings. Coordinate with Program Manager (Equity) to comply with EO 13985 including building relationships with Underserved Communities. Leverage data-driven DEIA strategies to include reviewing key strategic sources such as EEO MD-715, FEVS, FEORP, and other surveys to identify and close gaps in the employment cycle. Coordinate Department-wide submission of DEIA reports to OPM including FEORP. To qualify at the GS-13 level:SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Providing leadership in support of an agency and/or organization's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) program; Evaluating workforce planning and DEIA programs, policies, and impact as it relates to human capital management and strategic workforce development; Gathering, reviewing, and/or implementing metrics to measure DEIA performance.
