This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Fort Eisenhower is approximately 139 miles east of Atlanta, GA; 80 miles southwest of Columbia, SC; 156 miles west of Charleston, SC; 175 miles southwest of Charlotte, NC; and 127 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia. Fort Eisenhower's location is in the Augusta metropolitan area.

Duties

Perform broad management functions with the planning, management, administration, and implementation of an installation housing program. Leads in Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) data collection and reports submission. Develop technical guidance and plans based on Army Command Policies to meet installation housing goals. Directs the formulation of housing improvement plans within the framework of generally established Army objectives, policies, and standards. Approve financial work plans for execution within approved resources. Safeguard the technical direction and contract performance are following the installation?s mission.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires temporary duty travel from the duty station up to 5 percent of the time.
• This position requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain any installation and/or DOD license required to Operate light motor vehicles to and from work sites.
• This position requires the incumbent to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 filed annually.
• Must be able maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience includes demonstrated experience in the Administration of an Installation Housing Program which includes the Housing Services Office (HSO), Unaccompanied Housing (UH), Furnishings Management, Residential Communities Initiative (RCI), Privatized Army lodging and Military Housing divisions. Experience in preparing funding requirements for the Residential Communities Initiative. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
