Selected candidates must be willing to relocate in support of mission requirements.ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Requirements and Integration Analysts coordinate with mission partners and customers to define domain specific requirements and processes, and support the integration of future systems and methodologies. They leverage system engineering principles and best practices, apply domain-specific knowledge, and represent the community perspective to identify current and future needs. These analysts also evaluate and integrate new technologies and associated functions and assist in transitioning technology into operations.The Source Directorate serves the information needs of the intelligence, defense, and foreign policy communities and provides leadership on substantive issues, operations, tradecraft development, analytical tools and techniques to its partners and GEOINT customers worldwide. NGA's Requirements and Integration Analysts create, collect and broker authoritative GEOINT content and services based on customer needs and powered by their unique command of the GEOINT supplier market, unparalleled tradecraft expertise, and cutting-edge technology to support national security priorities. They establish services that drive toward enterprise collection orchestration for the community, lead modernization and innovation to meet customer needs. Applicants must have a solid foundation in analysis and research with a working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing and/or international issues preferred. The successful candidate will build and maintain professional relationships with other NGA offices and external partners, and brief senior level leaders when required. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to apply new methods and technologies to solve intelligence problems.
Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Demonstrated experience with two or more of the following: collection strategies; targeting; assessment; methodology; feedback, or vetting/validating processes.2. Demonstrated experience analyzing requirements, and/or integration capability documents (i.e., engineering processes, computer science, and data analytics) for validity and accuracy.3. Demonstrated understanding of one or more of the following regarding internal and/or external customer requirements: how to build and/or prioritize stakeholder requirements; how to track stakeholder requirements; how to levy stakeholder requirements against mission, or how to review and/or validate stakeholder requirements.4. Experience with research and analysis preferably dealing in systems engineering and/or engineering management.5. Demonstrated experience effectively communicating ongoing work and findings to leadership and others through written, visual, and/or verbal reporting and presentation.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in GEOINT, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Requirements Management, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience that involves defining domain-specific requirements and processes or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of college is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show that their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in defining domain-specific requirements and processes or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Demonstrated understanding to identify, establish, or implement engineering objectives or specifications by applying knowledge of systems engineering relating to the design, development, fabrication, installation, or analysis of systems or systems components.2. Experience with acquisition policies and procedures.3. Demonstrated proficiency with both written and verbal communication.4. Demonstrated experience of intelligence collection management, processes, and tools.5. Demonstrated proficiency using logic, analysis, synthesis, creativity, judgment, and systematic approaches.6. Experience working in an environment with changing or competing priorities.
