You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Navy Recruiting District (NRD) or Navy Total Acquisition Groups (NTAG) of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT RICHMOND.
Duties
You will plan required threat and Anti-terrorism (AT) working groups in accordance with DoD, Navy, and CNRC guidance for assessment of threats and vulnerabilities to identify and implement risk mitigation measures.
You will conduct AT and physical security assessments of facilities to identify potential vulnerabilities.
You will develop AT and security policy and procedures, in accordance with guidance.
You will monitor installation of new physical security features to ensure installation conforms to specifications.
You will plan and execute a drill program to exercise all aspects of the AT plan at every subordinate facility.
You will validate AT policies and procedures through training and exercise.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing as the Anti-Terrorism (AT) Coordinator developing detailed threat assessments for an organization relating to off and on installation facilities, personnel and operations; 2) Planning and leading required working groups in accordance with regulations and policies along with recommending higher Force Protection measurements as required; 3) Conducting annual AT program assessments in adherence with policies, regulations and instructions; 4) Coordination physical security procedures with internal and external law enforcement agencies and Task Forces staying apprised of local events impacting an activity; 5) Inspecting physical security features to ensure conformance to recommended specifications; 6) Planning, implementing and tracking an AT training program while ensuring all assigned personnel receive and complete required AT training as required by policy. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
