This position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center.
This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.
Duties
Works in the Directorate of Services Operation Division, Lodging Directorate. Responsible for financial analysis through performing studies, developing and presenting process improvement plans and balance scorecard performance measurements in the support of Lodging Transformation Initiative. Required to use standard government accounting systems, reporting modules and tools. Designs, creates, and generates standard financial and analytical reports to support Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Serves as an agent for change within the lodging division concentrating on the continuous improvement of the overall lodging program. Studies the structure and/or functions of Lodging project initiatives with interrelated work processes or functions to improve processes, maximize resources utilization, and resolve substantive issues of moderate scope, and proposes new organizational structures, realignment of functions, solutions to space/supplies/equipment issues, and or staffing levels to achieve greater efficiencies and reduced operating costs. Plans and conducts comprehensive analytical studies of assigned organizations or significant segments of several major functions to develop improvement ideas and solutions using statistical data from system generated metrics. Independently monitors and analyzes the metrics and performance trends of lodging through varying system generated and manual reports. Prepares detailed plans and performs work measurement, methods and procedures, manpower requirements utilization, benchmarking, and/or time engineered studies for substantive work processes and functions that are interrelated to improve production efficiency. Manages all stages of the projects that address improvements in processes to include design, user acceptance and integration. Reviews, prepares, and presents briefings on findings and recommendations to managers, supervisor, and AF Services leadership. Ensures safety, security, and housekeeping rules are followed. Reports the status and progress of work and causes of delays recommending solutions for approval to resolve. Answers supervisor's questions on overall work operations and problems. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of services operations. Experience in financial analysis and accounting processes, database application, and extensive experience in large or small-scale systems project work. Experience in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of program effectiveness and/or organization productivity. Experience in developing new or modified work methods, organization structures, management processes, and/or program administration procedures. Requires technical experience with principles of accounting. Experience working with MS Office application software to produce a wide range of office reports and documents.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

Working knowledge in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
Preferred knowledge DLS ( Defense Lodging System )
