About the Position: Fort Cavazos rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio. This is a temproary position not to exceed 1 year. For more information on temporary positions see the Additional Information section below.

Duties

Perform a variety of supply support functions to obtain supplies, services, and equipment for the Directorate. Answer customer's inquiries regarding the status of requisitions, delivery of materials, reconciliations, turn-ins, supply and discrepancy reports. Prepare and maintain hand receipts for equipment and installation property issued to the branch. Ensure physical inventory compliance of sensitive items in accordance with directives of the Installation Property Book Officer. Operate Government owned vehicles to pick up and/or turn in property and equipment for the Directorate.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license and any installation and/or DoD license required for the type of vehicle being driven.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60.
