As a Supervisory Program Manager (Leasing and Facilities Services), you will oversee all aspects of the Facility, projects and leasing program, including the project planning, acquisition, requirements, maintenance and monitoring of OCC's leasehold including full life cycle management and facilities interests.
This position will be located in the Office of Management, Administrative Operations and will be filled via one of the locations listed within this job announcement.
Duties
As a Supervisory Program Manager (Leasing and Facilities Services), you will:
Provide overall leadership and supervision in the area of leasing and facilities management, including oversight for OCC policy compliance with respect to office locations, contractor performance, lease terms and conditions, and ongoing lease audits and administration as well overall oversight to all aspects of facilities management such as design, construction, equipment purchases, space planning, and various facilities services.
Manage the evaluation of office locations, lease terms and termination options, client needs, and real estate market fluctuations; and make recommendations to senior management on the most cost-effective lease alternatives based on knowledge of space acquisition processes and the real estate market.
Manage and oversees short- and long-range project planning, cost estimating, project development and project management for complex leasing sites and renovations.
Manage OCC Facilities program to include space usage, custodial, maintenance and repair, energy efficiency, facility improvements and refresh, and health and safety of office environment.
Adopt sound practices in the development of budgets for leasing and facilities services. Oversee development and execution of recommendations to senior management on needed policy revisions and cost effectiveness of programs and projects based on expertise and knowledge of current practices, issues and trends affecting business operations within the Space and Facilities unit.
Assume responsibility for identifying, developing, and executing continuous process improvements related toactivities, functions and operations within Workplace Services; including innovative policies, procedures and processes basedon modern space and facilities management concepts, supported by effective technological tools and applications.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level or GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
Overseeing the planning of activities related to project management, leasing and facility services in areas such as workspace occupancy management, space planning, design services, occupancy management, furniture, and equipment procurement services. AND
Providing guidance in determining cost effectiveness of a program and/or projects related to leasing and facility management. AND
Leading a team responsible for project management, space planning, design/construction services, leasing, or facility services.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
