About the Position: Incumbent performs a wide variety of clerical and technical tasks essential to the administration of the programs for the Planning and Environmental Branch and the Engineering Branch. These duties require the use and manipulation of office automation equipment and various software systems. Performs Automation Support and Clerical duties for four Branch Chiefs, and 20+ employees of the Engineering and Planning and Environmental Branches.
Duties
Perform various clerical and administrative duties for the Division.
Purchase equipment and supplies for the Division and support inventory of equipment.
Provide timely and quality support to Planning and Engineering leadership, staff and customers.
Create, edit, sort, format, and analyze data in spreadsheets and databases.
Organize and file various documents and records. Act as the Branch Records Manager (Records Manager, assists with audits, property inventories).
Clarify new procedures and provides guidance in the application of new guidelines.

Specialized Experience (GS-06): One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes the ability to organize and schedule events and calendars; the ability accurately manages records in accordance with established policies and regulations; experience maintaining an inventory of supplies for an organization; ability to perform a variety of entry level administrative functions.
Specialized Experience (GS-07): One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes the ability to perform clerical and administrative duties effectively and efficiently in support of an organization. Accurately develop correspondence in accordance with established standards. Create travel orders/vouchers and develop cost estimates for travel.
